Brus & Knaster is a Swedish label that closely works together with Playground Music. In English Brus & Knaster means ”White Noise and popping” like the sound you get from vinyl when played. Started by producer/A&R Göran Petersson and designer/photographer Johan Månsson, the idea was to create a label that criss-crossed across the genre borders. A Left-of-center label with an eclectic vibe. Americana, electro, jazz, world, children’s music as well as pop could all find a home in the same stall.
