Did Not Leave To Find But To Forget, To Leave Behind
Brus 009 CD, Knaster 009 LP

”Did Not Leave To Find But To Forget, To Leave Behind”, is Stockholm-based The Tarantula Waltz’s sophomore album. The debut, released in 2007 was met with very favourable reviews. The band was heralded by British Uncut as ”Impressive newcomer”. The core and soul of The Tarantula Waltz is singer/guitarist/songwriter Markus Svensson and his meticously crafted songs. The brilliant band supporting him, a loosely knit collective of musicians that has been there since the debut, has during the recording process of the new album become a permanent outfit. Among the host of guests also appearing on the new album are Jaw Lesson, David Sandström and Ebba Forsberg. ”Did Not Leave To Find But To Forget, To Leave Behind” is produced by John Roger Olsson (The Grand Opening…) and mixed by Stuart Sikes (Cat Power, White Stripes, Modest Mouse, the Willowz…).
